Thoughts on the Saturn Neptune conjunction: part 3
Part 3: Reality vs. Illusion
Saturn is the planet of boundaries and limitations, longevity and structural growth, accountability and maturity
Neptune is the planet of spirituality and higher consciousness, confusion, and escapism, dreams, and fantasy
If one of them is reality and one of them is illusion, then the answer should be so obvious, so which is which?
Saturn as the final visible planet was considered to be the end of the solar system, the end of the known universe until it wasn’t anymore. All 3 of the outer planets were discovered unexpectedly, and their existence inherently undermines the reality Saturn presided over and what we once called real.
Saturn’s version of reality is one that is limited by what we know right now, what we can sense and prove, and what we understand and agree upon collectively.
Neptune is often associated with the ethereal world, disorientation, delusion, and illusions, in other words, things that are typically decidedly not rooted in reality.
But the reality of our lives has space for these neptunian themes, topics, and spaces.
Neptune was in fact discovered and is in fact real, and it's been real this whole time, even when we didn’t know about it.
Saturn is not the end of the universe, not the limits of existence, not the boundaries of the known world, and not the sole definer of reality— that is and always was an illusion.
