Iuvo: Keeping Americans Safe Since 2019

Clara’s days had been relentless in their mundanity, speeding past her while she stayed trapped in the endless humiliation ritual of searching for a job. Then, elastically, time snapped as she finally found one, nailed the interview, and exhaled completely for the first time in months as she signed an offer letter, all within an instant. Beginning today, Clara would be working, and she hadn’t just found a job; she had found a job at Iuvo. As she approached the building, Clara was met with her own image in the form of security footage, right at eye level next to the door. Before she could ring the bell, she was buzzed in. Her chipper greeting, intended for the person watching the door, dissipated into the empty vestibule of Iuvo’s midtown office. The front door automatically closed behind her, and the elevator waited open at the other end of the small entryway. As she arrived at the 15th floor, Clara took a shaky breath and quickly readjusted her new, slightly uncomfortable, blazer—a gift from her parents for landing a "great job" even when it was nearly impossible to find a "bad" one. The elevator opened into a small frosted-glass vestibule. The door to the office was wide open, and a woman stood in the doorway.
